Addressing the Needs of People with Brain Injuries in the Justice System

Hosted by The Council of State Governments (CSG) Justice Center and the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office of Justice Programs, Bureau of Justice Assistance 

In this webinar, the CSG Justice Center will partner with the National Association of State Head Injury Administrators (NASHIA) to discuss the risk factors, prevalence, and interventions—including community responses—related to people with traumatic brain injuries. There will be a focus on brain injuries among people in the criminal justice system to help participants understand environmental factors and strategies for identification, support, and referral. The webinar will cover available resources for people living with traumatic brain injuries and for providers working with this population.
